Privacy policy

This privacy policy sets out how we collect, use and share your personal data, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa, as amended.

Definitions

"Sensitive data" means data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade-union membership, as well as the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, and data concerning health or a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

"Data controller" means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing. In this case, that is [Data Protection Officer / Publication director name].
